And On That Farm They Had A....

Donkey, Horse & Dog.....today we went to our friend Robin & Raynor Edwards' house and the kids were able to play with their donkey, horses and their dogs. The kids had an absolute blast. The donkey, named Frosty, was about 3 months old. He was very hot and tired and just hanging out in the barn and he let the kids pet all over him. The kids were a bit afraid at first but it didn't take long before they warmed up. Hayes was not too sure about petting the donkey but quickly decided that he liked him. He was curious about the horse in the stable and wanted to pet him constantly but he did not like the horse that was wandering around. He liked the horse to be in the 'house' as he felt safe!
The dogs were right up Caroline's alley as we do not have any animals at our house. The dog that Caroline is petting loved having Caroline around. He would follow her around and begged to have her pay attention to him....she loved that he was following her around. When we got in the car to leave, Caroline was asking if we could get a dog and a donkey. I said no to both....
The kids had a blast and we loved getting to visit with Mr. Raynor and Mrs. Robin! What a fun day and treat for the kids.
