Hayes had a SUBMARINE party while we were at the beach last week. All of his cousins were there and it was just perfect. He had a blast playing with everyone & it was a sweet little party. After cake & ice cream, we gave all of the kids several glow bracelets (the kind that come in the pack of like 6 or 8 from the dollar store) and headed out to the beach. They all thought they were so cool that they were glowing from head to toe with their lights on. They did serve a purpose too; it helped us keep count of the kids while on the beach in the total dark.
It really was cute and the best $5 I have ever spent on a pack of birthday party treats ever. They sell them everywhere, but don't buy them unless you get them at the dollar store...seriously, same brand and they are great. Anyway, we went crabbing, caught nothing but the kids had an absolute ball and that is what matters!

we LOVE the glow bracelets too!!! occasionally, they will have them in the dollar section at target too!
