Marigold Girl

Caroline had a project due on any type of plant where she had to label and list all of the parts to the flower/plant. She was able to select any type she wanted. After much thought and looking, she selected the Marigold. We do not have a single marigold in our yard, so off to the store we went. I wanted her to see exactly what one looked like, smelled like, felt like and what the dirt and roots looked like. She was so excited about this project. This project was done in segments as her attention was easily taken away by a brother jumping on the trampoline or a sweet neighbor knocking at the door, wanting a friend to play. Once her daddy sat down and really got her going, she quickly finished. Once it was finished, it looked great. She was very proud of how it came out and I am proud of her for taking the time to learn all about the marigold. Next step~plant marigolds! Great Job, Caroline!
