I'm a Stranger in My Own House...

 Sweet Caroline came home with a Mother's Day card today & was just tickled with herself . I could not wait to see what all she had written about me as these are usually the sweetest little notes ever! I just knew something was going to be hilarious when my friend, Kelly, bolted to her car to get Caroline's out because I 'just had to see it because it was so special'....hummm what on earth could be be? Let's see. For those of you that may not be able to see on the screen, let me help you with the Questions/Answers:
Let me tell you about my mom. My Mom is __32______ years old.

(well, yes, I do like to sleep. At night, when the rest of the world sleeps, so I am okay with this answer)

wow, I've never cooked pizza a day in my life, honey! Obviously we order pizza WAY too much & I'm taking credit~I must work on that one :)
Her favorite thing to do to relax is ____sleep___
Okay, really...totally got thrown under the bus on this one! I don't nap & I sleep approx 3-4 hours at night & I get called out on sleeping TWICE ON A MOTHER'S DAY SHEET. WHAT? Really? Perhaps I don't do anything to relax? I am obviously a stranger to relaxing...

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!! Really, sleeping, again? It's just funny at this point :) After crying a bit because I couldn't stop laughing, I asked her if she thought I slept ALL THE TIME, she said, 'NO, I just knew how to spell sleep'.....well, there you go. But really, how embarrassing! Let's just say I did get the 'normal amount of sleep per night, what in the world would she think then? I'm sure she would think I was in a coma!

I almost think this one is even more humorous than the first one & here is why....

I am ANYTHING but artistic. Sleeping typically stresses me out because it means I'm not getting things done, so I'm not 'relaxed' when I wake up. I despise going into 'Petsmart' since we have NO PETS (other than the 2 fish we HAD TO BUY AFTER THE FAIR BECAUSE WE WERE THE ONLY FAMILY THAT DID NOT WIN A FISH!!!!!!!). I in no way think I'm funny, nor have I ever been told I'm funny. I do think it's sweet that she would like for me to be happy...not sure how she thinks that could be bought, but it's a nice thought.....and the one I love best....tennis. I have not played tennis a DAY IN MY LIFE. She knows that. And well, I work while she is at school, so that makes it even funnier.

How did this happen?: I love this girl more than anything in the world and that's why this is so funny. When I sat her down to love on her and to ask her these questions, just one on one...she knew all about me. She also knew to be silly. I do suppose being silly in front of your friends is fun, too. But I am so proud of her for trying and for making a darling hand-print on the folder. She is my heart.

So for this Mother's Day, I have a silly little girl that I love more than life itself and am so glad the she knew I'd love her little papers and anything little thing she wrote down. And just maybe I'll take up Art, Petsmart & Tennis....but Caroline, don't hold your breath on Petsmart :)
