School Christmas Parties

Today was party day at school. They go to the sweetest little school and both kids just love it. They only go twice a week for a couple of hours (just enough for me to run into those places that I hate taking kids into---Wal-mart!). I was able to run between Hayes' class & Caroline's class and had a great time visiting each one at their parties. They are low key parties, but the kids LOVE them. Caroline made the necklace that is around her neck. She was so proud of it and

kept showing me what she had made. Hayes loved hanging out in his seat and eating his treats. They had a great day and crashed tonight at 6:30....so we'll see how long they sleep tonight; hopefully it will be at least until 5am.

Caroline has two wonderful teachers, Mrs. Susan & Mrs. Leora. She prays for them nightly and often says that they are her best friends. She thinks they are great. They are so sweet to her and she loves going to school to see them.

Caroline loved playing with this basket on her head. I tried to get her to take it off and she wanted no part of being a 'basketless' child. She played in that hat for 10 minutes. It was a hoot.

Caroline has gotten into a phase where she wants the 'perfect bed' and who doesn't? But, she brings all of the pillows from around the house and makes little pallets for everyone & leaves a complete mess. It is really cute, but I had no idea she did this little game at school. Today she showed me her 'perfect bed' and showed me how to take a nap (too bad she didn't take one today when she got home!).

Hayes also has the best teachers, Mrs. Allison & Mrs. Stephanie. They are so good with the toddlers & sing and play with them constantly. We could not be more thankful for these two as they really love Hayes and take such great care of him while he is there.

Okay, so I know I went a little picture crazy, but he was just too cute. He was munching away on treats and loving every second of it. He is such a happy baby (though he is not really a baby anymore) and loves everything about life...except for when Caroline takes something away from him :)

We had the best morning and the kids are just too sweet!
