My Wise Man

Covenant Presbyterian Preschool had a Christmas program for the 3's, 4's and K5 kids. It was the sweetest program we have even been to and I was beaming with pride and excitement for Hayes. He knew every song, every word and he was delighted to be up on stage. He had been working on his speaking part since before Thanksgiving and we had been praying that the Lord would help him remember all of his words and he did perfectly. When he finished and we were in the car, he said, "Mom, God helped me remember my words!" Oh my heart. He played the part of a wise man and he took the entire story very seriously. All of the children did a fantastic job and it was a joy to see the story of Christ's birth told through the voices of small children.
